| Welcome to our virtual town "Elderville". I hope
you are wearing your runners. We have a lot of ground to cover on our guided
tour. For a complete explanation of ElderWeb itself please read the information
in "All About ElderWeb" located on the previous page. Just click your browser's
BACK button to move one page back then click on "All about ElderWeb".
The page you are now looking at is known as the "Street Map". Like any map it guides you around our town. The grid represents streets and avenues. The boxes located at the intersections represents buildings. Each building represents a different topic area. You will notice that some building names are in blue and some are in black. The blue buildings are open to the public and you may visit the lobby today. The black buildings are reserved for members only. As soon as you register you will have full access to all areas. The first building in our town is the local newspaper office. Our newspaper, the Elderville Times-Chronicle, keeps our members fully informed of all activities of ElderWeb. If you want to be a fully informed member you should check this area every time you sign on. Let's start our tour there. Just move your mouse pointer over the words "Elderville Times-Chronicle" and click once. You may find it necessary to use the scroll bar on the right to scroll down the page until you can see the street map. |
