Organizing for Change: A Project Designed to Help Immigrant Seniors Help Themselves
To provide training and capacity-building to existing immigrant seniors organizations;
To identify, contact and bring together isolated immigrant seniors;
To bring together individual seniors, immigrant senior organizations and mainstream groups for mutual support and sharing of resources;
To develop concrete plans designed to address the various needs of immigrant seniors;
To train volunteer community workers to facilitate and sustain this process.
